Matters arising from minutes 15.04.24
· Fairtrade Foundation blog. Nothing to report.
· Dundee Food for Thought. PR attended a Fairtrade workshop at Abertay University on July 3rd organised by Sally Romilly (Dundee Fairtrade) and Viv Colly (Abertay/Cupar)
· University Community event 13th May. AC and AM attended.

Financial report
- Balance £2419.73.
Noticeboard – the saga continues
· There has been a delay because scaffolding was erected on the Town Hall the day the noticeboard was to be installed. The Men’s Shed will do the work when it’s possible. They will also fix a stay; there will be an additional cost for this.
· Contents. PR has been collecting items on a USB to print, along with some posters. MR and PR to draft a statement of our group’s objectives. ACTION MR/PR
Schools poster competition
· AC, MR and MP met to organise details of the competition and an email was sent to St Andrews schools in June before the end of term. AC to re-send the information at the beginning of the new school year. ACTION AC
Fairtrade Fortnight
· MP has organised a UK tour by Malawian rice farmer Howard Msukwa. He will speak in St Leonards Church Hall at 3pm on Friday 13th September. We will promote the talk with churches, community groups, eg the Men’s Shed. Publicity to be produced as soon as possible. PR to contact Lorna Hutcheon and Rosalind Hine for assistance with artwork. MP to provide information for the poster. ACTION MP/PR
· Our banners to be displayed at Morrisons and St Leonards Church.
· Our flag to be flown on the Town Hall.

· Martin Rhodes is now Labour MP for Glasgow North. AC to send a card to congratulate him on behalf of the group. ACTION AC
· True Origin has been shortlisted for an award for rebranding by the UK Food and Drink Association.
